El Monte, CA — The Duarte Biys Basketball grinded a 79-63 win against Bassett of La Puente. The scored was ties up 38-38 at the half. The start of the 3rd quarter the Falcons went o. a 6-0 run and kept getting stops to eventually go ahead by 10 and finally out away tough Bassett squad. Falcons were led by Danny Pina and Eli Baxter who had 28 and 17 points. Josh Delfin and Michael Glover each added 10 while Devon Hemsely added 9 points and 12 rebounds. Duarte faces league opponent Nogales in the Final tomorrow 11/25/17 @ 530pm at El Monte HS.
