Fountain Valley, CA — On a windy day at the David L Baker golf course in Fountain Valley, California, the junior varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach high school and Fountain Valley high school went head-to-head in a wave league match. In the end, it was Fountain Valley who emerged victorious, finishing with a score of 199 to Laguna Beach's 221. The David L Baker golf course proved to be a challenging test for both teams, with the windy conditions adding an extra layer of difficulty. Despite the challenging weather conditions, Fountain Valley's players were able to secure the win on their home course. The Breakers showed some grit in the difficult weather conditions, as they posted their low team score of the season as a visiting team. Freshman, James Schroeder, led the way for the team, finishing with a 41.
