Marietta, OH — Marietta Tigers Varsity stayed in it until the end, but Zanesville High School pulled away late in a 4-2 victory on Monday. The game was tied at two with Zanesville High School batting in the top of the fifth when Rameriz singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. In the first inning, Marietta Tigers Varsity got their offense started when Carson Strahler singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run. Moorehead pitched Zanesville High School to victory.
