Laguna Niguel, CA — The Breakers varsity team played our first match at our new home course, El Niguel CC, against Aliso Niguel HS. However, Laguna was actually the visiting team, as Aliso Niguel also uses this course and this was a home match for them. This is a tough course with difficult green complexes, and Aliso Niguel showed they have more experience on this track, winning 212-242. Russell Franconi-Krychman was the low scorer for Laguna, posting a score of 46. Chase Tyson had a good day scoring 47; Kiyan Arshadi shot 47; Evan Kretschmer shot 51 and Preston Towe also shot 51.
