Grandville, MI — Caledonia Fighting Scots had couldn't push across runs on Thursday, dropping their game with Grandville 9-3. The Scots got on the board in the first inning. On a sacrifice fly by Derek Pennington that scored AJ Szabo who reached on a walk and stole second. Aaron Hileman took the loss for the Scots. The southpaw lasted four and a third innings, allowing three hits and five runs while striking out two. Alex Skibinski, Isaac Jurmu, and Nick Slater all had hits for Caledonia. The Scots were able to add two runs in the top of the seventh and threatened to add more but left the bases loaded to end the game. Caledonia's next game is a trip to Byron Center this Saturday for a double header starting at 10am.
