Burbank, WA — Burbank Wa. - The Coyotes were welcomed back to Coyote Stadium Thursday night as they squared off against a game Warden Cougars squad. Coyote defense made two huge stops to open the game before Warden threw up an 85 yard bomb down the right sideline. The Coyotes found themselves in a quick hole. After a short drive the Coyotes punted the ball back to the Cougars. Another Coyote stop the Cougars had an errant snap go over the punters head and he batted it out the back of the end-zone for a Coyote Safety. Finally, the Coyote offense put a nice drive together leading to a Coyote touchdown on a Matthew Wilder 4 yard scamper. The Coyotes never looked back 245 yards on the ground and 111 through the air. The Coyote offensive attack led by senior running back Elijah Kinsey and a veteran offensive line of Worcott, Sloan, Kelly, Edwards and Hilberg. Pariera chipped in 7 receptions from Logan “Homie” Beck for 87 yards and a TD highlighted by a 27 yard sideline toe drag. Next week the Coyotes stay home for Homecoming against a non-league Cascade team traveling from Leavenworth Washington. We hope we can fill the stands on a true Friday night lights game.
