Shillington, PA — We are very proud of the boys and how they played their hearts out Friday night to beat a good Warwick football team. They showed what we are capable of doing when all facets of the game: Special Teams, Offense, Defense and the Sideline come together and execute the game plan. It was also great to see our offense hold onto the ball and our defense get three interceptions. This shows that when two evenly matched teams come together and play, turnovers and penalties usually determine the outcome of the game. This week, we are thankful to get another opportunity to practice and play with a great bunch of kids! The Eastern Conference Championship game against Pleasant Valley will be home on Friday, November 3rd at 7 pm. Pleasant Valley is a very similar team as they will line up and run the ball most of the game. So, don't blink, the game will be over before you know it. There is a lot riding in this game, as been explained to the team. Both teams come into this game 5-5 on the season. One team is going home with a Eastern Conference Championship trophy and the other is going home with a losing record. So, I expect our kids to be totally focused and up to the challenge.
