Pine Bush, NY — In our first home game last night against the NYS #22 ranked team, Monroe-Woodbury, we put up a valiant effort but unfortunately fell short with a final score of 27-19. The game was an intense battle that came down to the wire, as we made a final drive attempt to force overtime. Notably, it marked the inaugural game on our newly installed turf field, drawing a massive and supportive crowd. Our offense showcased a strong running game, rushing 43 times for an impressive 333 yards and securing 3 touchdowns. In addition, we completed 7 out of 12 passes for 117 yards against a formidable Monroe-Woodbury defense. On the defensive side, our team displayed its best performance of the season, forcing multiple punts and putting up a commendable fight.
