Glen Ridge, NJ — Hip-Hip Horan One week after Glen Ridge’s was roughed up a bit by Dumont, 34-7, senior twins Will and Morgan Horan saw to it that their Ridgers take a much more assertive stance last Saturday against Tenafly. While senior QB Dylan O’Neill engineered a smart, efficient offense, the brothers Horan removed any possibility of Tenafly doing the same kind of thing against the defense. Will, an outside linebacker, matched his season high of 11 tackles and also recorded a safety, and Morgan, a DB, came up with three tackles and - oh, yeah - the longest interception return in program history when he went 97 yards with a theft in the fourth quarter to help apply the icing to a 36-0 victory. That was the second win in three games for the Ridgers. -- Mike Kinney https://www.nj.com/highschoolsports/2023/09/sfc-football-notebook-highlights-must-see-games-storylines-ahead-of-week-5.html
