San Juan Capistrano, CA — …..no joy in Mudville tonight, Mighty Casey has struck out…. We won 2 opening rounds of doubles at lines 2 & 3. Kate Layk and Abby Godber won 7-5, while Riley Godber and Arina Wagner won 6-2. Dropping several sets which should have been closed out didn’t help; even their subs beat our subs in round 3. We played a better team today, but not 2 - 16 better. :( Next up: Thursday, Sept. 28th. 3 pm at SMCHS.
