Huntington Beach, CA — The Lions rebounded in round 2, defeating Whittier Christian 6 - 0. WCHS is fielding a girl's tennis program for the first time in over 20 years! The Lions squeaked out two 8-6 wins [Emsley in singles and Kendall with Sienna at line 2 doubles; and a tiebreaker win by Jordan and Sydney. Hailey battled long at line 1 singles, winning 8-4, with Ava Smith serving up a bagel, 8-0 victory at line 3 singles. ALL of the girls mentioned above earned MVP honors for this round!
