Caledonia, MI — The Lady Scots moved to 2-1 on the season with a victory over a scrappy Covenant Christian team by the score of 52-43. After trailing by one point at the end of the first quarter, the Chargers came back to take a 31-30 halftime lead. The Scots proceeded to allow only 12 second half points which ended in a nine point victory. Lily Gortmaker paced the Scots with a solid double-double that included 16 points and 10 rebounds. Lakely Bottom started hot and finished with 14 points, and Mackenzie Devries totaled 13 points (including three 3-pointers) and four assists. Caledonia shot 11/14 from the Free-Throw line.
