New Canaan, CT — Our 9U girls had their first Double Header against New Canaan on Sunday and did great! The first game ended in a 7-7 tie. Great pitching by Lainey and Mia. Great hits by Laila, Lainey and 2 by Tessa. Solid defensive plays by Tessa, Alyssa (GG), Laila, Mia, Lainey and Skylar (catching the outfield pop up!!) The 9U lost on the second game 5-10. Tessa and Alyssa (GG) made their Timberwolves pitching debuts and did great. Great hits by Mia, Lainey and 2 by Alyssa (GG). Solid defense by all girls. Great job!!!
