Trumbull, CT — The Timberwolves fell short to Velocity tonight 6-4 with both teams playing excellent softball. Zoey managed our only hit today and also pitched 2 innings, giving up 3 runs, and striking out 5 batters. She also stole 2 bases. Ariyah pitched the last 2 innings, striking out 2, and giving up 3. Ellie hit a sac grounder for our only RBI. Summer added 2 walks and 2 steals; while Nina, Tessa, Alyssa, Mia, and Leigha all managed a walk and 2 steals. Mia, Nina, Leigha, and Tessa scored our runs. It was a great game with some great defense from Ariyah, Zoey, Leigha, and Nina. Great job and onto the weekend where we have 4 games scheduled.
