In the final minute of the 1st period, Matt Bjorkman closed the gap to 3-2 as he tipped in a slapshot from Thomas Willman. Parker Meyer assisted as well. Just 35 seconds into the second period, Jason Flaherty tied the game on a power play goal assisted by Meyer. Flaherty scored again just 5 minutes later taking a feed from behind the net from Caden Lane and burying it past the NM goalie. Cody Penniman picked up an assist on that goal. Travis Laidlaw would put Wachusett up 5-3 scoring on Parker Meyer's 3rd assist of the game. The game stayed 5-3 for most of the 3rd period, but North Middlesex would score a shorthanded goal at 11:19 to pull within 1. After pulling their goalie with under 1 minute to play, Jason Flaherty would block a shot at the point and pick up the puck at center ice and put the game away with an unassisted empty-net goal, giving Wachusett a 6 - 4 win. The goal completed Jason's 2nd hat trick of the season.
