Bethlehem, PA — The Patriots had their offense rolling Saturday as they took on Abington Heights. The starting nine in the order each recorded at least one hit. Haas and Warren each had a double, but the big story was Hauze and his two bombs. Hauze took the first swing at Abington to get the Pates rolling in the first with a blast over the centerfield wall scoring 3 runs. Freedom added 1 run in the third inning on a Haas double. And then it was Hauze time again in the fourth when he came to the plate with the bases loaded and proceeded to record his second homerun in grand fashion. That proved to be more than enough offense as Serrano got the start on the mound and threw 4 great innings only surrendering 1 hit and 1 run while striking out 8. Stofanek came in to close the game out holding Abington to just 1 hit, 0 runs, and only 1 walk while striking out 4 batters shutting the door on any chance of a comeback. The defense played great behind Freedoms pitching not giving up a single error.
