Easton, PA — The JV Rovers were triumphant over the Blue Eagles of Nazareth Wednesday at Easton. Deegan Keller earned the win for Easton. The sophomore hurler allowed four hits and one run over four innings, striking out two and walking just one. Winston Hornik threw two innings of shutout ball in relief. The reliever surrendered one hit, striking out one and walking one. Brody Dech led the Rovers with two hits and three RBIs. Overall, the JV Rovers displayed a strong eye at the plate, working counts and collecting six walks. Easton was solid in the field with Jack Miller at shortstop, collecting the most defensive assists. Next up for the Easton JVs is a road trip to Bethlehem Catholic on Friday to play the Hawks.
