JC Offense is Strong on The Day

In windy conditions, Johnston City takes advantage of 3 Tiger miscues for a breakout 4th inning, scoring 10 runs in the frame to put the Tigers at bay. After being down 10-1 in the 3rd, the Tigers were able to fight back, scoring 7 runs in the bottom of the third to cut the Johnston City lead to 10-8. H. Summers would ground out with the bases loaded to end the Tiger rally after narrowly beating out the throw at first base. Zoey Linton led the Tigers at the plate, going 2-3 with a triple, 3 RBI, and 1 run scored. Jersey Summers (1-1, 2 BB, 2 runs scored), Branson Hill (1-1, 2 BB, 1 RBI), Harley Summers (1-3, 2 RBI, 1 run scored), Sophie Schramm (1-2, 1 BB, 1 run scored), Haylee Smith (1-1, 1 BB, 1 run scored), and Reese Elliott (1-1, 1 BB, 1 run scored, 1 RBI) all hit safely on the day.
