Challengers Win Season Opener
Cascade had strong possession from the first whistle. They worked together to maintain possession for the majority of the game. The girls started off strong with a powerful cross in the box from Emma Coats to Sienna Wilcox to score a goal in the 18th minute. Lakeview took an opportunity on a Cascade defensive miscommunication and equalized in the 30th minute. Sienna Wilcox countered back 6 minutes later by good team passing up the field. Right before the end of the first half, a corner kick service from Mae Ferriera turned an own goal from Lakeview by a mistaken header which ended the first half with the score at 3-1.
