Stratford Beats Bunnell, 2nd Time This Season
Stratford hosted Bunnell today & came away with a very good & encouraging 9-5 win to complete the 2-game sweep of our crosstown rivals. Lefty Senior Ethan Hill started, went a full & complete 7 innings, & beat Bunnell for the 3rd straight time going back to the 2024 season. Stratford bats came alive & exploded as they combined for 12 hits, 3 doubles, & 2 HRs ! Junior leadoff hitter Xavier Lendof also had a single & home run. Hill at the plate was busy with 2 walks, a single, a double, multiple stolen bases & runs scored. Senior catcher Max Owen had a big 2 RBI double. Junior RF Cody Gallant came up 1 hit short of the cycle with a single, double, & big HR. Junior Eli Jimenez & Soph Jack Wiltsie both had 2 hits a piece. Stratford returns to action on Friday at Weston with first pitch slated for 4:15.
