Oilers start slow but finish strong, topping Bay City Western 28-17
It was a slow start tonight for the Oilers as Bay City Western looked poised to pull off the upset tonight. However, Xavier Creguer overcame 3 interceptions and provided a rushing touchdown that gave the Oilers a 21-17 lead. Grahm Phillips had a late rushing touchdown that made it 28-17. The Oilers got a game sealing interception by Zay Rodriguez and won the game 28-17 to improve to 6-0 and stay undefeated on the year. They’ll be back at home next week against Traverse City West at 7pm.
