The Chiefs earned a hard fought draw with 2nd-ranked Artesia High School today. The Chiefs opened the scoring when Sean Romo beat his man down the right hand side and then squared a pass for a nice finish by Jonathan Campos. The Pioneers responded with two goals before sophomore Alan Reyes fired home the equalizer in the second half (assisted by Jerry Chavez). Both teams had multiple chances in an even and entertaining game.
