Buena Opens Season with Grit Despite 5–0 Defeat
The Bulldogs opened the season against a strong Oxnard squad in a matchup that offered Buena an opportunity to build early momentum. Buena delivered a tremendous first half, matching Oxnard’s energy and tempo throughout. As the game wore on and fatigue set in for both teams, Oxnard capitalized on a favorable call that resulted in a 1-0 lead at halftime.
