Silver Streaks girls basketball vs Quincy
It was a thrilling Western Big 6 conference match-up Thursday night at John Thiel Gym as the Galesburg girls basketball team battled the Quincy Blue Devils. With no time left on the clock at the end of the 4th quarter, Quincy made 3 free throws to tie the Streaks and push the game to overtime. The game ended up going into double overtime but the Silver Streaks came away with a hard-earned victory over the Blue Devils, 76 - 71. The Streaks are now 8-1 on the season and 3-1 in conference play.
