Verdugo Hills got their first win of the season Wednesday afternoon against Arelta 1-0. Paola Moreno Nataren struck early with a well taken shot to the upper right corner. The Verdugo defense along with goal keeper Amber Echea preserved another clean sheet. This is the third game this year Verdugo has held their opponent scoreless.
