The Oilers held a double digit lead at the end of the first three quarters. However, Saginaw United wasn’t going to go down without a fight. The Phoenix fought back to close the gap to single digits. In the end, Zay Rodriguez got his shining moment hitting a 2 pointer with about 3 seconds left on the clock in the 4th quarter. The buzzer beater 3 attempt by the Phoenix was no good, and the Oilers survived the Phoenix 51-49 to rise from the ashes with a win.
