Vanden JV Vikings bats was on fire with 11 hits and 9 RBI’s. Moffitt lead the explosive offense with 2 hits and 3 RBI’s from the lead off spot. Backed by Gartner, Cruz providing doubles and Hale with the power stroke triple to the left center field gap. Supported with Barlaan going 4.0 strong innings giving up 1 hit, 2 unearned runs, 1 walk, and 3 strikeouts. Only to lose a close game by committing 5 errors. Games like this will build character and give us the well needed wake up call early in the year.
