Davis, CA — In a great showing, Kennis Jasperson scored 16 points, but this was not enough as C.K. McClatchy fell to Ukiah 39-28 in the semi-finals of the Dorothy Speck Memorial Basketball Tournament in Davis, California. Even though McClatchy stepped up their game against Ukiah during the second half of play, it wasn't enough to overtake Ukiah's strong first half. CKM added 15 points in the final quarter, it wasn't enough to overcome their opponent. Jasperson sunk the most baskets during the third period, earning eight points for the Lions. Jasperson hit 4 three pointers in the second half. Also helping the effort for CKM were Morgan Johnson (4 points, 2 rebounds, 3 steals), Alyssa Yuke (3 points, 4 rebounds), Aaliyah Pirkey (2 points, 10 rebounds, 1 steal), and Cara Ishisaka (2 points, 2 rebounds).
