Wachusett wins 38-34!
Wachusett survived a wild back-and-forth battle with Leominster, holding on for a thrilling 38–34 victory to remain unbeaten at 4–0! Jack Smith got the Mountaineers on the board with a 1-yard touchdown run, giving Wachusett a 7–6 lead. Callum Hoey then drilled a 27-yard field goal to make it 9–7 before Max Brown hauled in a 5-yard touchdown pass to extend the lead to 15–7. Luke Vecchione came up with a huge 22-yard touchdown reception, and Ty Briggs added another touchdown catch as Wachusett built a 28–13 advantage. Hoey came through again just before halftime, connecting on a 35-yard field goal to send the Mountaineers into the locker room up 31–13.
