Freshmen Get Their First Win
The freshmen had a great Labor day getting the job done against Elmwood Park. Quarterback Max had a big game with 3 touchdown passes and one touch down run. King and Elijah both had big runs that set up some of these touchdowns. Defensively we saw big hits from Ronny, Jerimiah and Adrien while our WILL linebacker rotation of Timmy, Ethan and Majid were in Elwood Parks backfield all day long. Interceptions by Adrien and Preston came at key moments giving Taft the momentum they needed to secure the victory. Jerimiah, John, Robert and Logan all had productive receiving days. Center Alex really improved his snaps this week leading to the uptick in the offense. Big stops all day from the D-Line.
