San Juan Capistrano, CA — Despite the seemingly lopsided scores, our Frosh Soph players battled Edison for almost 3 hours this afternoon, in an all doubles format. We started at 2:30 and didn’t finish until 5:15😀🎾 ...losing 3 of 4 tie-breakers and another 4-6 set 😢 Kudos to our MVP players: Alyssa Allado who won both sets, one with Maddie Northway, the other with Sophia Recupero. Additional MVP players winning the other two sets: Natalie Walters with Hayden Gibson; Maclaine Murray with Annie Sherwood. Honorable mention goes out to those who played tough tie-breakers, only to come up a bit short: Maddie Northway with Sofia Recupero; Judianne Kunst with Fionnuala McClain; and LuLu Marisigan with Kayla Bright, playing the last set up on court #6 with everybody cheering both teams on.
