Goddard, KS — The Goddard Lions started off the second half of the season with a great win over the Andover Central Jaguars by a score of 53-33. The Jaguars looked to be a challenging opponent as they entered Fridays game with a 4-1 record, with their only loss coming to Maize South by 2 points. The Lions pounced on the Jaguars early and never looked back! It was another terrific game from the Lions as a group as they played a complete offensive and defensive game! The Lions shot 52% from 2, 30% from 3, and 11 assists as a team which are all season highs! Scoring leaders for the game were Healy 17, Rudkin 10, and Watkins 10. It was another great step in the right direction for the Lions as they look towards to a showdown with their cross town rivals, the Eisenhower Tigers on Tuesday night! The Lions hope to continue their undefeated league record with a win against the Tigers!
