Santa Ana, CA — Welp, I guess we were playing cricket today! This is a first for us, we have dealt it out, but, never received a whitewash... [In cricket, a whitewash is when a team wins all the matches played in a series of at least 3 matches]. "It may be hard to believe, but, I saw some good things out there today" says KOach O. "Foothill is always a strong CIF contender, year in, year out, very well coached." Foothill's league is required to play "fast four" [sets to 4, with a real weird tiebreaker format] which was a little different... The boys were supposed to play at 5, but, were called out early and had to scramble up there as both of Foothills girls and boys were ready at 2:30. It all worked out though and we got 2 full matches in. The Lions will regroup next week and improvements will be made.
