Excellent Pitching Results in 1-0 Loss (By Andy Hutchison of the Newtown Bee)

In an April 26 contest, Newtown again got two of the three facets of the game in which they strive to succeed, playing errorless ball and getting stellar pitching from David Braun, but fell short 1-0 at Joel Barlow of Redding as Matt Scott silenced Newtown’s normally hot bats in a 1-0 Falcons’ win. Braun struck out 11 and allowed six hits and one walk in his six innings of work.
