Drake Dunham, Brody Cobb and Alex Moore paced the offense today. Drake scored 2 goals and added 3 assists while Alex had a hat trick and Brody added 2 goals. On the back end Grant had a solid day on defense while Owen Brinks, playing his first Varsity game made some big plays on defense as well. Gibby Barnett also had a solid game on defense shutting down the middle of the field. Mitchel Harrington chipped in with 1 goal and 2 assists and Rodrigo Lazaro had 1 goal.

The team came home in 2nd place with only 9 scoring wrestlers. Grand Rapids Christian won the tournament with 142 points with 13 scoring wrestlers. We had 127 points with 9 scoring wrestlers.

Good couple of wins tonight for the team. We beat Evart 36-30 and Houghton Lake 54-18. Winning two matches tonight were Alex, Bubba, Mandy, Braiden, Ryan and Logan. Next up St. Ignace Invitational Saturday morning.

The Grayling Wrestlers went 2-2 on the day winning matches against Alpena 45-24 and Beaverton 39-22. The Wrestlers lost a nail bitter to Gaylord B team 42-42 (lost of the 6th criteria) and lost to Whittemore-Prescott 54-30. Logan Malonen and Yeng Xiong went 4-0 on the day. Caleb Baker, Kylie Berringer, Jake Huspen and Braiden Tuck went 3-1. Mandy Andrews, Marcus Chard and Hunter Strohaver went 2-2.
