Prep moves to 4-0 with win over Delbarton

In a game that Prep’s defense dominated early, it was the offense who put the game away with a dominant 2nd half performance. The defense forced 3 turnovers and blocked a field goal attempt in the first half. However, Prep only took a 14-0 lead into halftime. In the 3rd quarter the offense began to get into a rhythm with 14 points in the 3rd and another 14 in the 4th.

Prep Frosh get in the Win column vs Union City

QB Kellan Thein threw TD passes to Jahvier Shuler and Amare Ratliff to finish with 2 TD passes on the day. Ratliff added a rushing score to finish with 2 total himself. Lucas Moya added a rushing TD and James Power knocked all 4 extra points through the uprights.

Week 1 - Prep vs Union City

Senior QB Tyler Bell threw for 5 TDs and ran for another as Prep rolled to a 35-7 halftime lead. WR Hunter Watson hauled in 3 of those TDs and totaled over 100 yards receiving. Junior RB Abdul Turay eclipsed 100 all purpose yards for the 2nd straight week. The defense was stout all night, surrendering just over 100 total yards. The running clock was triggered after Prep’s first 3rd quarter possession on offense.

Prep vs Union City

The Prep offense regained its fast pace after a scoreless 1st quarter behind Tyler Bell’s 277 passing yards and 5 TDs. Andres Perez had 2 TD receptions and Hunter Watson was over 100 yards receiving with another score in back to back weeks. The defense found their stride in the 2nd half with 2 takeaways highlighted by a Justin Gonzalez forced fumble into a scoop & score and hard hitting run support from Jordan Rodriguez (who added an INT), Nick Grasso, and Luca Herrera.
