Schurr Football Clinches Almont League Championship!

Schurr Football won the Almont League Championship with a dominating performance against Bell Gardens High School. Schurr ended the regular season a perfect 5-0 in league and 7-3 overall. Schurr will play Saugus High School next week (11/7) in the first round of the CIF SS D7 Championships.

Great team win

Good bounce back game after some days off! Solid defensive performance as a team! Noah Loera with some big 3’s and Jesse Preciado with a great defensive effort!

Game MVP

Ulysses Gastelum was the game MVP against Eisenhower. Ulysses had a career game with an efficient 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. Ulysses demonstrated great patience within the offense, and was able to get high percentage shots consistently throughout the game.

Schurr vs. Wilson

Schurr girls' basketball team beat the Wilson Wildcats 64 to 51. Way to go girls!
