Boardman JV lost Thursday night to Poland JV 7-1. Boardman was lead offensively by Ryan Conti who had 2 hits. Dom Lombardo also had a hit and a run scored. Adam Konnerth had 4 K’s in 3 innings of work on the mound.
The Spartans fell in a close one 6-5. Ryan Conti, Lanny Burton, and Zach Ganser all had multiple hits. Conti lead the way with 3 hits and Dom Lombardo had 2 RBI’s.
Behind a strong pitching performance from Lanny Burton the Spartans JV beat Howland 6-2. Burton went 5.1 innings allowing just 1 earned run while Dustin Coss closed it out. Offensively Charlie Young and Ryan Conti lead Boardman JV with multiple hits. Young had 3 hits and 2 RBI’s while Conti had 2 hits and 1 RBI.
The Spartans JV team had an offensive surge Monday night vs. Howland. Boardman had big RBI days from Ryan Conti with 4 and Kevin Pekkanen and Dylan Barret with 3. Marty Stachiowiscz scored 4 runs while Charlie Young, Lanny Burton, Zach Ganser, and Joel Hammar each had multiple hits.
