Bears sweep the season series versus the Huskies

Led by Junior Anderson Sterba the Bears defeated the Huskies 192 to 224. Anderson fired a one under par 34 to notch the teams first under par round in a match in over two years. Sophomores Luke Paradise and Justin Ruzzamenti shot matching 4 over par 39's, and Seniors Ty Smith and Jamison Brack equaled the feat with 5 over par 40's. Another solid round by your Golden Bear Golfers.

The Golden Bears take down the Broncos

For the second time this season the Golden Bears defeated the Vista Murrieta Broncos this time by 21 strokes on the Stone House course at Temecula Creek Inn. Junior Anderson Sterba led all golfers with an even par 35. Sophomore Justin Ruzzamenti was right behind him birding the 9th hole to fire a one over 36. Sophomore Luke Paradise had a great bounce back round and shot a 3 over 38.

Bears complete the season sweep of Murrieta Valley at Bear Creek

Sanded and Punched greens couldn't stop the Golden Bears from rolling along to another victory. Sophomore Justin Ruzzamenti led the way with another stellar performance shooting a 3 over par 39 under difficult conditions. Junior Anderson Sterba and Sophomore Jeffrey Thornton both fired 4 over par 40's to help the effort. Next up, we close out league at home against an improving Vista Murrieta squad.

Bears lose a tough one to arch rival Great Oak

The Bears fought hard and battled all the way to the end, literally. The match came down to a chipping and putting contest on the 9th green. Junior Anderson Sterba led the way with a one over par 36, followed by Sophomore Jeffrey Thornton with a 36 and Sophomore Justin Ruzzamenti with a 38. Senior Jamison Brack battled valiantly to the end narrowly missing a par putt on the 9th hole that would have tied the match and sent it to the 6th man. The Bears tied their second lowest round of the season and low league round from the MV match on the Oaks course. Very proud of the way the boys fought today.
