Wow! the Shamrocks had themselves a great day on the golf course. Our entire team was focused and delivered, four of the five players lowered their scores from the previous tournament. We took 2nd Place as a team and super junior Sophia Silva took home an individual medal with a 3rd place finish, shooting the team low 80. The Shamrocks will now have some time off before the next tournament come Nov. 29th at the Dominion Country Club.
Today, your Shamrocks took fourth place out of fourteen teams. This years team doesn't have much experience, only two players (Sophia Silva and Micah Rabey) have real tournament experience and we will rely on them to carry this squad. All the girls played well and have room for improvement. Coach Flores and myself see the potential for this team to have a great run at District come the spring. Today, Micah Rabey one of our super juniors shot her best score in tournament play with a 79 which also earned her fourth individually. I Look forward to our next tournament at Alsatian in Castorville, Texas. Go Shamrocks
