Heading into Friday nights BDD matchup the #2 seed was up for grabs as the Lady Panthers traveled to Council. When the dust had settled the Lady Panthers not only earned a 35 to 33 win over the Lady Cobras, they also earned guaranteed possession of the #2 seed.
The Lady Panthers improved to 13-6 with a 51 to 31 win over Cornerstone Christian Academy. The Panthers were led by Cheyanna Davis, 22 points 6 rebounds and 4 assists, Leya Vanover (9 points, 6 rebounds) and Rayne Hawthorne (9 points, 18 rebounds). The Lady Panthers overcome a sluggish start to pull away in the second half.
The Lady Panthers held on to defeat Hurley 41 to 39 in BDD action on the road Tuesday night. The Lady Panthers squandered a 15 point lead as the Lady Rebels made a fierce comeback led by Jayda Stacy and Emily Mullins in the fourth quarter.
The Lady Panthers took down cross state rival I.AM. in Johnson City on Monday night 49 to 32. The Lady Panthers were led by Cheyanna Davis (15 points) and Rayne Hawthorne and Kiarra Gross (12 each). The Ravens were paced by Ellah Jaworski who had 18.
