The Calvary Baptist Academy Lady Cavaliers won their first ever playoff game this past Thursday night. Down 23-11 late in the 3rd quarter, the Lady Cavs used a barrage of 3 pointers and some pesky defense to erase the deficit and finish with a 3 point win.
After a slow first half, the lady Cavs picked up the Defense, and had some great outside shooting to seal the victory
Shooting woes and foul trouble let to a night of learning that sometimes the ball just will not go in.
The Lady Cavs came out and put on a shooting exhibition, led by freshman Addison Stevenson with 17 points. Senior Liberty Haase added 16 points followed by another freshman Katelynn Jenkins with 12 points. The lady calves improved their record to 6-3 as they get ready for district play next week.
