Veritas Academy Fundraiser
Our goal is to provide an education. Our goal is to raise funds. Our goal is to change the lives of our student athletes. You’re contribution will help change the narrative, make an impact that will continue having a positive effect in the lives our young men. About Us
Veritas Training Academy is a private college preparatory secondary school located in Seal Beach, California, which is 30 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. By participating in being a donor to the Veritas Educational Foundation, you will play a crucial role in helping these student/athletes reach their collective goals of graduating high school and qualifying for full scholarship opportunities from colleges and universities around the country. Veritas Academy has student-athletes between the ages of 13 to 18 years old. Most of them are from underprivileged families from within the United States, Mexico, and Latin America. Each student-athlete receives quality basketball training and the opportunity to compete against the best basketball programs in America. Students at Veritas Academy are hand-picked, elite basketball players with the requisite skills to play at the college and professional levels. Veritas Academy places a strong emphasis on academics, giving all students a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum. Students receive a high school diploma with an emphasis on being prepared for admission to the most selective colleges in America. The curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking, analytical skills, problem solving abilities and a deep understanding of the content given. With the support of in-person teachers, tutors, and staff there is a focus on English Language Development.  Mastering academic language is a priority for our students for them to be able to communicate effectively as speakers, listeners, and writers.
