I have been involved in the sport I love since I was 8 years old. I have played at many levels, including collegiate. I have coached since playing was no longer an option. I have coached at all levels from recreation, accelerated to High School. I find the most joy coaching these great 13 year old girls that includes my eldest daughter, Kadynce. Softball has been apart of my life for so long, but now I get the true joy of coaching along the side of my father (who coached me throughout my softball career) , my husband (who I have loved watching play at a collegiate baseball level, play men’s fastball with the worlds most amazing players) and my nieces (who I helped coach). Life is good when softball is involved!

I have been playing softball since I was young and love this sport. It is really a family sport for us. I love seeing these girls grow up and improve and play the game we all love!!

My name is Randy Barnes. I currently am a educator at Alta High School. I have played high school and collegiate baseball, earning conference honors my sophomore year at Colorado Northwestern. I served as an assistant coach at Alta High School for ten years until deciding to step away from the high school to coach the Utah Wildcats club softball team with my wife Shea. I have a tremendous love for the game of fast pitch softball. I have played and continue to play fastpitch softball and have been fortunate to have played in many ISC World Fastpitch softball tournaments, against some of the most elite softball players in the country. But my greatest satisfaction is helping young athletes succeed at the game I love and help them learn important life skills through teamwork and work ethic.

I've been playing softball since I was five. I always instructed in other sports. I love watching these girls grow up and doing it with family at that.
