My name is Alecia Robinson. I am the Math Department Head and Head Varsity Softball Coach and Oceanside Collegiate Academy. This will be my 4th season as Head Coach and I am excited to get this season started

I’ve had the privilege of coaching young athletes on the Diamond for close to 25 years. A graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, I was a 4 year starter - playing catcher for the Aggie Baseball team. I had the fortunate opportunity to play professional baseball in the Arizona-Mexico Professional Baseball League (Independent league) with and against guys such as Kelly Johnson (St. Louis Cardinals) and Chuck Carr (Florida Marlins). I began my coaching career at 18 while still in college, coaching and/or instructing young baseball and softball players. Currently, I’m the lead hitting and catching instructor as well as 15U head coach for the Carolina Prospects, elite summer college prospect baseball program.
