Jim Andrews

Coach Jim is entering his 5th season with Avengers Baseball. He has coached travel baseball for 9 years and a total of 13 years at the youth, intermediate, and travel levels combined. Coach Jim spent 8 years in the military and coaches with the discipline and attention to detail that his military experience instilled in him. Coach Jim played high school baseball at Pleasant Valley from 1997 - 2000 on a number 1 ranked program in the state. He finished high school as a two time all conference 3rd basemen and an All Area Selection his senior season. Coach grew up watching the likes of Derek Jeter, Don Mattingly, and Joe Torre. Needless to say, his favorite team is the Yankees. His favorite quote is “90% of the game of baseball is half mental”
Coach Karwacki, or "GameChanger," scores the games, manages team statistics, and serves as bench coach on game days. Karwacki played baseball for Notre Dame High School and teaches math at Liberty HS in Bethlehem, PA. An avid Phillies fan, Karwacki doesn't miss many Phillies trivia questions. Karwacki stresses that athletes shouldn't just hope they'll be successful - they need to take action and make it happen.

Coach Ruggeri enters his second season with The Avengers. Coach Ruggeri played baseball at Marian High School and is employed as a high school teacher at Easton HS. Coach Ruggeri has previously coached youth baseball and currently plays in a local adult baseball league. His favorite team is the New York Yankees and believes that mental toughness and hard work is what separates great players from good players.
