Coach Shannon Bourque talks football all day! As an full-time Realtor, husband and father, his clients and family can confirm this. Coach loves few things more than football. Family, football...and perhaps some crawfish. Yes, crawfish! As a proud Cajun and former Private Investigator working alongside federal agencies, and local law enforcement, Coach Bourque provides a unique perspective on life...and certainly a type of grit that we all admire! With the grind of his investigative days behind him, Shannon focuses on being a positive impact in our community, with a keen focus on young people's lives. As Shannon would put it,... "It feels purposeful. This game presents countless life lessons, and opportunities to meet them head-on." Having played 12 years, highlighted by semi-pro ball in the South American Football League - SAFL (Lafayette, LA.) , along with his humble upbringing,... Coach Bourque brings this "No Words - Just Action" type of attitude that we all admire. Now entering his 7th season as a coach, Shannon has been invited to the high school as the 2023 Frosh Defensive Coordinator where you can certainly expect to see this grit on full display.
