Growing up in Iowa, I picked up wrestling my junior year in high school. My coach gave me an article written by Ken Chertow. I read that article everyday for a year. I cut out quotes and hung them in my locker so I would see them everyday. The one that fueled me throughout my life is: "Athletes compete with others, Champions compete with themselves." Those two years of wrestling proved me with strength, character, determination and skills that have guided me throughout my life personally and professionally. That foundation is why I'm passionate about providing kids with the opportunity to wrestle. We are excited about Coach Reader joining our team.

2014/15- Asst Coach 2015/16- Took over as Head Coach 2016/17- League Champions for first time in 19 years. 2017/18- Head Coach/Director of Wrestling. Back to Back League Champions for first time in 34 years & 1st Team in District to be recognized as having an All Girls Team. 2018/19- Director of Wrestling.
