Cory has been coaching volleyball for over 20 years, ranging from youth volleyball to the college level. He is in his fifth year coaching both boys and girls teams at Woodbridge High School (Irvine). For travel/club volleyball, Cory is the head coach for Ohana AC South 14s girls team and assists the 16s team. He is also the director for the club. Along with volleyball, Cory also enjoys basketball, softball, and golf. Favorite TV Shows: The Big Bang Theory, The Office, Friends Favorite Movies: Remember the Titans, Sixteen Candles Favorite Artists: Bruno Mars, Faith HIll Favorite Color: Blue Favorite Person: Dad Most Influential Person: Mom Best Volleyball Moment: “After one tough day of play (we lost all three matches, all sets by just 2 or 3 points.....I was lost for words as we just couldn’t get the one big point, it was one of those frustrating days. Everyone was frustrated. On our way back to the hotel, Faith Hill’s “The Way You Love Me” and next thing you know the girls yelled to me, “We still love you and volleyball!” They went undefeated the rest of the weekend and made everyone proud.
