Athletics-Mercado Ornelas is a 16U Travel Softball Team that competes on a National level in the toughest tournaments our sport has to offer. They have upcoming trips to Georgia, Colorado and Southern California and are looking for your help and support to assist them in making memories and building character along the way. When you donate, you will receive weekly updates on your favorite player and team events.

About Us

The Athletics-Mercado Academy has developed into one of the premier travel softball organizations in the nation. This Athletics-Mercado Ornelas 16U team and its players have participated in its rise to glory and has recently been ranked 15th in the Nation for all 16U teams. The team has traveled from Fresno to Florida this year and still has plans to be in Atlanta Georgia, Colorado and Southern California competing in the Premier Girls Fast-Pitch National event. The head Coach, Fernando Ornelas, has actually won PGF Nationals, has been ranked in the top 10 nationally and plans on this team making a run at PGF. In order to assist this team and its players, we are asking friends and family for their support to help cover the cost of tournaments, travel expenses, uniforms and equipment. Your contribution will give these determined young ladies an opportunity to represent our community on a national level and give them an experience they'll never forget.
